Comfortable, modern Italian restaurant.

You can't get blood out of a turnip..
An Italian chef won't make the difference when the management is clueless. And certainly won't improve the service. They had an Italian chef already since they reopened, but still no passion.
Too many changes are not healthy.
Loved the chocolate fudge though!

Now is in arrive a great italian cooker and all problems will disapear! Thanks to intelligence of manager of restaurant In a few days will arrive from Italy a truly Italian chef with great experience. This chef is from a family owned by three generations restaurants. Everything will change in better .Clever manager of restaurant has taken note of the criticism and has found a remedy! Italian food is very good and very healthy. All scientists around the world know, especially the British and American scientists have done much research on why the Italians are the people most 'lived on the planet and the answer is because they have the best food in the world!;-)

:-D Absolutely the BEST restaurant in Aberystwyth. I don't what you're all talking about, maybe they read your comments and stepped up a level because I went with my friend just last week. The service was brilliant and the food was well worth the money! Highly advise this restaurant for a delicious relaxed Italian meal.

Italian? Nothing there was Italian. Not even the menu! My friend's risotto was tasteless and reminded me of semolina ( overcooked, not much flavour, watery mushrooms? ). Pizza was more like focaccia bread with very little topping.
Very little portions. Well overpriced.
Isn't it run by Indians??
Little Italy isn't better at all, but the cosy atmosphere does the trick and you don't feel as if you are eating in a cantine.
We will never go back.

agree with the comment below, the service was rubbish, there was hardly any topping on my pizza and also no rocket even though the menu stated it came with it, my boyfriend had seafood pasta which didn't look very nice, Had a coffee afterwards which was stone cold so took it to the lady and she didn't do anything about it, i waited for 15 minutes until another member of staff asked the lady what was wrong with it then sorted it out himself. Will never go there again!

The Orangery has been rebranded as the Bella Vita but the service is still poor and the food I had with my friends there tonight was shockingly bad. My friend's burger was pink in the middle and missing some of the fillings described in the menu, his chips didn't come out until he pestered the waitress for them, my lasagne consisted of just two layers of pasta with an anemic amount of meat sauce between them. Side salads were served without so much as a drop of olive oil on them. My other friend's pizza didn't come with the king prawns described on the menu but instead a lonely shrimp. All in all an expensive and very disappointing meal, none of us will ever go back.
