Express Cafe

Does your uncle own the rest of the building Gabby? Because if so, he seriously needs to take care of rest the neglected building above Express Cafe. It's an eyesore and a shame that an attractive building, one of the first things people see when leaving the bus and train stations and crossing the road to get into town see.
The food is bog standard chippy fare but at least they use cardboard instead of polystyrene.

The change has destroyed the character of this place. Used to be an early opening Cafe. Who needs another Chippy? And a "modern" one it is, alright. There's a more traditional one down the road that'll give better and more for your money.

Best fish and chips we have ever tasted, beatifully cooked meal and very nice service

Love the change, come down with my family every year and food was always nice but the owner and his staff treated us very nice and we felt like we knew them forever. Lovely menu well cooked and pleased to see them doing well. Thankyou and we will see you in August x

Really nice place to eat, love the breakfasts and we are always treated well. Would recommend to anyone who hasn't been before. Good value for money too which is always a bonus!

Fabulous fresh food! Went with family on our holiday this year and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It now has a cafe as part of the chip shop so offer a range of hot and cold snacks which was handy as we were all catered for! Clean place and friendly staff! I would recommend this place to eat. Will call again in August!
