The 4 17 calorie sushi you get for £4 usually is hardly filling and for £12.50 you can have plates upon plates of all the different sushi.
It is also great if you are either picky or adventurous as you can try one of each or just find one you like and eat plates of it.
The price includes dessert but not drinks and the given 2 hours is more than enough.
The family came in doubtful and quite honestly not expecting to like Sushi at all and it was a bit of an adventure as the fussy kids don't really like fish but everyone loved it!
The vegetarian options were terrible. Both of the starters myself and my partner ordered were also included in our main meal, which shows the pathetic variety of the food on offer for someone who doesn't eat meat. The salad in the bento box was not even attempting to be Japanese, so don't go here if you value authenticity.
When the two starters eventually came, we had almost finished our meal. They looked the same but one was supposedly vegetarian. My partner wasn't sure whether hers was vegetarian. She spent the following day throwing up. Go figure. We didn't leave a tip.
As far as the hot menu goes, there are a few things on the menu that I adore, such as the breaded pork/beef, the curries and the sashimi (raw fish) but I tend to find the rice and noodle dishes a bit plain. Keep in mind though that traditional Japanese is quite plain and Wasabi is very much authentic cuisine unlike a lot of places.
The girls on service are always very polite and obliging despite sometimes having a slight language barrier, but they try their best regardless.
