A bit scruffy but still consistently popular due to cheapness! Main pub runs the the entire length of the building, and there's a decent dancefloor at the back with all the usual mainstream music. Normally open late till at least 1am or 2am and usually packed on Fridays and Saturdays. Especially popular with young locals and students, but attracts all sorts - a bit more 'alternative' than Pier Pressure or Yoko's. Downstairs bar is a venue for various club nights. Admission charged for the downstairs bar, and for late entry upstairs.
