- "Gwych. At last, a pub in Aberystwyth that actually feels as if it's in Wales. Byddaf yn ol." - Ianto [Aug 2006]
- "This place is a classic, and a throwback to every old Welsh pub you've ever seen in a movie from the 40s or 50s, even wartime! We did feel a bit intimidated at first - bunch of old geezers chattering away in Welsh who stopped chatting and weighed us up as we went in - but the bar lady very friendly and the side bar was a nice place to chill and chat. Would go back, but rather in a group of 4 not just 2 of us. Nice beer." - Dean & Pai [May 2006]
- "Simply the best pub in Aber." - Danny Boy [May 2006]
