The castle ruins are great to explore

If the weather's fine, Devil's Bridge is great to visit. The bridges and waterfalls are always impressive and the journey there's certainly more than a little picturesque. The Vale of Rheidol Railway is the most enjoyable way to get there and isn't unreasonably price. - Hop on the train up the coast
