Travel Information: Travel Around Aberystwyth


Town Centre and Immediate Surroundings

Town centre attractions and shops are all close together and within easy walking distance of each other, but you may wish to use the local buses to reach the outer edges of the town such as Waunfawr, Llanbadarn Fawr and Penparcau.

The central bus station is on Alexandra Road (map).

Principal Daytime Services:
Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 6pm

On Sundays and in the evenings, these routes are replaced by less frequent circular routes 514 and 515 linking the bus station, Waunfawr, Llanbadarn and Penparcau.

Shopmobility

Ceredigion Shopmobility loan electric scooters and manual and electric wheelchairs to help people with limited mobility access the town centre.

The service is available on Thursdays and Fridays at Bath Street car park (map). Being registered as disabled is not a requirement, but having proof of identity and address is.
